“ It is one of the most beautiful restaurants we have been. Good ambience, service and atmosphere. Fantastic beautiful setting with white table linen cloth. Value for money matches the location and its service as well as the good quality food and cocktails they create and serve. One thing however was they accidentally overcharged us, when we called about this they listened and invited us to their lovely bar, which I liked as that signifies their respect to their customers. We did not get time to go but amazing gesture! Highly recommend. ”
“ Absolutely loved our experience at Ognisko! We visited the day after completing the London Marathon and were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional — we even got to snap a few memorable photos with them! The food was outstanding — full of flavor and beautifully presented. As a special celebration, we tried a few shots of their unique vodka, which was the perfect touch. We couldn’t resist their desserts and coffee either — they looked amazing and tasted even better! “ We came here on a Sunday afternoon. It is situated in the heart of South Kensington, in a beautiful building. I found that the late Queen was dining here before too. What an honour. The lunch set is really good value. I ordered the beetroot salad, confit duck leg and Chocolate Marquise with Vanilla Ice Cream and Cherry Sauce. Salad of golden and red Beetroots with Goat's Curd & Roast Seeds (v) : it is definitely an interesting taste at the first bite. The sauce is so spicy with the garlic taste, and with strong onion taste. It grew on me, I dipped the bread with the sauce. The beetroot is very sweet and refreshing. Confit duck leg with caramelised apple and red cabbage: I thought it would be like the French version. It came with red cabbage and cooked apple. The sweetness from the garnish is working very well with the duck leg. The leg is very flavourful, a bit salty. But the sweet and sour garnish went very well with the leg. Chocolate marquise: it is a really good dessert. It is not like chocolate mousse, it is hard like a chocolate ice cream cake. The sweetness is just about right. Pan fried sea bream: my partner said it was really good. It looked very healthy too with lots of veggies underneath. Rose: I had the house Rose for 8. It is very reasonably priced. Perfect for sunny weather. It is a posh looking restaurant but It is also child friendly. There are many families with babies eating here on the weekends. ”
“ It’s been 5 years since I last ate at Ognisko and it’s still going strong. Love the Polish inspired cocktails and the light bites (the pierogi and the smoked eel are fabulous). My only complaint is that they ran out of space and were seating diners in the hallway, but hopefully that’s a temporary measure due to the holiday rush. ”
“ As an early birthday treat this spot did not disappoint! As a half pole this place really made me feel proud! From the breathtaking interior to the decadent food and smooth vodka everything was sublime. The dirty vodka martini hit the spot and the raspberry vodka as part of our desert was easily sunken. We got the lunch time menu. 3 courses for 29 feels like we’re sat on a dirty secret as it satisfied the taste buds extremely. Definitely recommend! I’m putting the price range as 40-50 as you can’t leave without trying their range of vodkas, especially as I hear they have an in house distillery! ”
“ Came here for lunch on Sunday 12:45, we were able to get a table in the marquee in the sun which was nice but the marquee very quickly filled up by 1pm! We ordered appetizers, starters, mains, sides, desserts, cocktails and vodka shots and we seriously loved the food (the classic pierogi’s are awesome as are the blinis but the best thing for sure is the potato salad that came with the sausage is just wow! Highly recommended to come here for lunch or for dinner. The place is so grand and the service is swift. ”
